Purepoint Uranium Group Inc (TSX-V:PTU, OTCQX:PTUUF, FRA:P5X0)CEO Chris Frostad talked with Proactive about the company’s 2026 summer drill program at the Dorado uranium project and the progress being made across its large-scale exploration district with partner IsoEnergy.

Proactive: Welcome back inside our Proactive newsroom. Joining me now is Chris Frostad, CEO of Purepoint Uranium Group. Chris, it’s great to see you again. How are you?

Chris Frostad: I’m really good. Thank you. It’s good to be back.

You’ve announced the start of your 2026 summer drill program. Before we discuss that, this follows on from the successful winter drill program we’ve discussed previously.

We’re working on our Dorado project, which is part of a significant district assembled with our partner IsoEnergy. The district covers about 100,000 hectares. During our first drill program we opened up the Nova Zone and encountered some remarkable results, including uranium mineralization grading up to 8%.

That discovery was made around this time last year. We returned during the winter to expand on it and are beginning to better understand both the district and the Nova Zone itself. We’ve extended the mineralization approximately one kilometre and are continuing to refine our understanding of where the mineralized system is located and how it developed.

What does the summer program involve?

Summer exploration is more challenging because conditions are wet, which is what halted work a year ago. The program is helicopter-supported and consists of seven planned drill holes.

The first three holes will focus on the Nova Zone, where we can access a number of targets during summer conditions. The goal is to better understand the direction of the mineralization and the broader system.

The remaining four holes will test a nearby zone that has seen previous work and warrants further follow-up. We’re hoping to generate strong results from those targets as well.

This program will continue through July and August?

Yes. The drilling will likely involve about four months of activity with some breaks in between. It will certainly take us into August.

You also recently completed airborne geophysical surveys over the property and are awaiting results. That seems like another important milestone.

It is. We’ve assembled several projects into a larger district-scale land package and have been able to conduct surveys across the entire area. That gives us a much more complete geological picture.

The area is becoming increasingly prolific. We are adjacent to IsoEnergy’s Hurricane deposit and several neighbouring companies are reporting encouraging exploration results around the edges of our project.

We recently completed a mobile MT survey across the entire property. That provides deep subsurface imaging and helps us better understand the geological structures. We expect the results in the coming weeks and believe they will help us determine where to focus future exploration.

How exciting is it to be back in the field conducting drilling and geophysical work?

It’s extremely important. Exploration involves a lot of groundwork including prospecting, surveying and geophysics, which may not immediately lead to discoveries but are necessary steps.

In this area, we’ve completed much of that foundational work. Now the focus is increasingly on drilling, which is where exploration becomes particularly exciting because that’s where discoveries are ultimately made.

We’ll look forward to following the progress. Chris, thanks for the update.

Thanks a lot.
