October 31 2006 – Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. (TSX-V:PTU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Roger Watson as the company’s Chief Geophysicist. Mr. Watson was a Founding Partner of the firm Paterson, Grant and Watson Ltd., Canada’s leading provider of geophysical consulting, data processing and interpretation services.

Roger’s expertise in the collection and interpretation of geophysical data for exploration purposes will be invaluable to us.”
Roger joins the highly experienced Purepoint management team which proudly boasts well over 100 years of collective exploration experience in the Athabasca Basin. He also continues to provide his consulting expertise to a select group of companies in the exploration field.
Geophysical surveys refer to those methods used to remotely determine the physical characteristics of rock deep under the earth’s surface. A variety of geophysical instruments and survey types can be utilized to assist in the identification of geological settings conducive to uranium deposition such as structural traps, graphite and alteration halos.
