Shallow Uranium Targets Refined by Advanced 3D Modelling

About Russell South

The Russell South Project is a 13,320-hectare, 100%-owned uranium exploration project located near the south-central edge of Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin.

The project benefits from relatively shallow target depths and a favourable geological setting near established uranium deposits and discoveries, including the historic Key Lake Mine and the Moore Lake Project.

Purepoint has identified eight high-priority target areas through the integration of airborne gravity, magnetic, VTEM and MobileMT geophysical surveys, with advanced 3D structural modelling further refining the project’s most prospective subsurface features.

Why Russell South Matters

1. 13,320 hectares of 100%-0wned exploration ground
2. Eight high-priority target areas
3. Relatively shallow exploration setting near the southern edge of the Athabasca Basin
4. Advanced geophysics has resolved basement structures previously masked by shallow conductive layers
5. Strong structural and alteration signatures identified across several target areas
6. Strategic location near established uranium deposits and discoveries

ADVANCED TARGET REFINEMENT

Russell South has been progressively advanced through multiple generations of airborne geophysics designed to better define prospective structures beneath the project.

MobileMT surveying proved particularly important because shallow conductive layers had limited the effectiveness of conventional airborne electromagnetic methods.

By integrating the MobileMT data into detailed 3D structural models, Purepoint was able to resolve previously unrecognized basement features and establish a more precise structural framework for drill targeting.

TARGET AREAS

The eight priority target areas are focused on conductive zones associated with favourable structural settings, including areas where gravity and magnetic responses suggest prospective rock types or hydrothermal alteration.

The western Treleaven area also hosts historical geochemical anomalies associated with interpreted structural complexity, providing an additional exploration setting within the project.

EXPLORATION STRATEGY

Exploration at Russell South is focused on ranking the highest-quality targets before committing drill metres.

Purepoint integrates geophysics, structural interpretation and historical exploration data to identify locations where conductivity, alteration and structural complexity combine to create the strongest potential for uranium mineralization.

This approach is designed to improve drilling efficiency while systematically advancing a focused pipeline of shallow uranium targets.
